A distinct desire for innovation, a unique idea and a good sense for the challenges in modern dental offices: Taking these ingredients as a basis, Bernd Bühner and Pierre Mabille in 1981 founded the company EMS Electro Medical Systems – quality made in Switzerland.
In 1983, we presented our first prophylaxis devices. With the systems AIR-FLOW® and PIEZON®, we have since sustainably changed and shaped the approach to dental care. And in doing so, we have always been guided by a specific conviction: that a visit to the dentist should be pleasant and painless.
With this vision, we have become one of the world’s most successful dental companies. Today, more than 600 people work together with us on a daily basis to make dental prophylaxis increasingly successful, fast, painless and effective.
