Thanks to mobile equipment, you can treat clients in the healthcare institution, their familiar environment. You will have a permanent client population that you treat according to a protocol developed by Vitadent Mondzorg. Tasks that belong to you are: cleaning the teeth, gums, cheeks, palate and tongue. You also provide clients and guidance with advice about daily oral care. You report on your activities and findings in automated systems.

As a prosthetist, you go every day with a cart full of supplies to clients in healthcare institutions who need oral care. Together with a team of dentists, dental assistants, prevention assistants and dental hygienists, you treat these clients in your own familiar environment. You consult with the dentist, treating physician, nursing staff, family or legal representative to achieve the best possible treatment. After fitting a prosthesis, inform everyone involved and explain how they should use and maintain it. Finally, you enter healthcare content and administrative data, both in the treatment software and the electronic client file of the healthcare institution

Dental assistant
Using mobile equipment, you treat the client in the healthcare institution together with the dentist. During treatments you provide the dentist with the right supplies. You also arrange that the client’s next dental appointment is scheduled. Together with the dentist, you will have a permanent client population that you will treat according to a protocol developed by Vitadent.

Prevention assistant
As a prevention assistant you are the first point of contact for oral care within the healthcare institution. You advise and guide healthcare workers, clients and their legal representatives in carrying out daily oral care.

As a dentist you are the main practitioner of oral care. You manage the dental assistants, dental hygienists, prevention assistants and prosthetists and you draw up treatment plans. Using mobile equipment, you treat clients in your own familiar environment; within the walls of the healthcare institution. If necessary, we bring clients to the professional practice environment. This is always done in consultation with the client, legal representatives and the treating physician. Together with your dental assistant, you will have a permanent client population. You keep oral care for this group in order using a fixed, protocolled working method developed by Vitadent Mondzorg.
