Practice Lab 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Choose from the following workshops:<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Basic techniques for scalers \n<\/strong>During this workshop, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of the scaler. You will learn about the instrument by practising yourself and experience what it is like to use a scaler. With this hands-on workshop on the phantom head, you will be introduced to one of the components of the Prevention Assistant B training programme.<\/p>\n\n

Basic ultrasonic techniques<\/strong>During this workshop, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of the scaler. You will learn about the instrument by practising yourself and experience what it is like to use a scaler. With this hands-on workshop on the phantom head, you will be introduced to one of the components of the Prevention Assistant B training programme.<\/p>\n\n

Introduction to Guided Biofilm Therapy<\/strong>During this workshop, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of the scaler. You will learn about the instrument by practising yourself and experience what it is like to use a scaler. With this hands-on workshop on the phantom head, you will be introduced to one of the components of the Prevention Assistant B training programme.<\/p>\n\n

Manufacturing and finishing composite restorations<\/strong>At a treatment unit, you will work on skills focused on fabricating and finishing restorations. This hands-on workshop on a phantom model is intended for dental assistants, prevention assistants or periodontal prevention assistants and offers a fun preview of the Edin composite training courses.<\/p>\n\n

Sealing \n<\/strong>Are you a dental assistant, prevention assistant or periodontal prevention assistant and would you like to learn how to apply sealants? During this practical workshop, we will introduce you to sealing elements on a phantom model and give you a preview of Edin\u2019s Sealing training course.<\/p>\n\n

Applying a dental dam<\/strong>How do you apply a dental dam on your own? If you are a dental assistant, prevention assistant or periodontal prevention assistant and are curious about how to do this, then this practical workshop is for you. You will practise applying a rubber dam on a phantom model and learn one of the components of several courses and training programmes at Edin.<\/p>\n\n

Precision drills<\/strong>Are you a dental assistant, prevention assistant or periodontal prevention assistant and would you like to try your hand at preparing teeth? During this workshop, you will test your skills and find out exactly how well you can drill. Discovered new talent? Then take a look at Edin for various composite training courses.<\/p>\n\n

Practice Lab 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

When restoring an element, you cannot see the layers of composite. During this hands-on workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your restoration in a transparent jaw. This will allow you to clearly see what you have actually created.<\/p>\n\n
