About us

AquariaLease installs, furnishes, and maintains aquariums under full operational lease. AquariaLease also carries out (custom) aquarium projects for renovations, existing construction, and new construction. We manage the entire project from start to finish, including aquarium maintenance. Our clients are in healthcare, businesses, and government sectors. AquariaLease operates throughout the Netherlands, and our aquariums are also available in Flanders, Belgium. In which areas will you find AquariaLease aquariums? - Waiting rooms in hospitals, clinics, dental practices, and general practitioners' offices; - Reception areas, such as reception halls and entrance halls; - Coffee corners and (company) restaurants; - Living rooms and day rooms in nursing homes and care homes; And many other places where an aquarium is a pleasant addition to the environment. Where people work, wait, and/or relax, an aquarium contributes to environmental well-being. Why an aquarium? There is extensive (scientific) research on the effects of aquariums. The following points emerge from this: - An aquarium is relaxing and calming; - it reduces the perceived waiting time; - it reduces stress; - it promotes social interaction for both staff and visitors; - it creates a pleasant working environment and a homely atmosphere; - it has a proven positive effect on certain target groups.
