Komet Dental was founded in 1923 by the Brasseler brothers. Thanks to their outstanding expert knowledge in dentistry and their brilliant ingenuity, the small company soon became one of the largest and most respected providers in the dental sector.
Today, Komet Dental offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of rotary dental instruments and systems in the world, for dentists, dental technicians, oral surgeons and orthodontists. With very few exceptions, Komet manufactures each of its products at the company’s production site in Lemgo, the home of the family-run company employing more than 1,000 staff. This is where dental quality – made in Germany, yet appreciated all over the world – is created.

DIAO
DIAO is een innovatie die gebruikers enthousiast maakt bij het prepareren van kronen, bruggen en caviteiten. Langdurige scherpte en optimale controleerbaarheid maken de behandeling efficiënter en minder vermoeiend; tevens wordt de efficiency in de dagelijkse praktijk verhoogd. Dankzij de frisse roségouden kleur van DIAO is het instrument voor de optimale preparatie heel gemakkelijk te herkennen en altijd snel binnen handbereik voor de volgende preparatie. Praktijkprocedures worden aanmerkelijk vergemakkelijkt. Het unieke aan DIAO zijn de keramische parels tussen de diamantkorrels. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een ongeëvenaarde restatie en controle van het instrument. Daardoor hebben DIAO-preparatie-instrumenten een aanzienlijk langere levensduur dan vergelijkbare modellen. Een ander voordeel van deze innovatieve diamantcoating is dat ze gemakkelijker te reinigen is.

Een overtuigende totaaloplossing, die de ervaring van Komet vertaalt naar een nieuwe generatie vijlen. Zelfs moeilijke tanden kunnen betrouwbaar en minimaal invasief worden behandeld met het nieuwe roterende vijlsysteem van warmtebehandeld nikkel-titanium. De innovatieve variabel getaperde vijlkern zorgt met zijn dubbele S-doorsnede voor maximale flexibiliteit en een efficiënte verwijdering. De voorbuigbare vijlen overtuigen door een aangenaam, soepel en veilig werkgevoel.
