SRAB 99D amalgam separator
The SRAB 99D amalgam separator is used in dental practices for the legally required retention of amalgam from wastewater. It must achieve a minimum separation efficiency of 95% and be certified according to DIN EN ISO 11143. Its function is based on the sedimentation principle, where wastewater from the treatment unit and the spittoon is combined, and the amalgam is separated by gravity. The separator also serves as a collection container, from which the purified wastewater drains away. It is important to note that non-water-soluble prophylaxis powder must not be introduced to prevent blockages.

Water test
Test your water quality according to the guidelines! Medentex water tests are high-quality, affordable, and easy to perform. Dental practices can reliably test the water quality in their treatment units for colony-forming units. In line with the guidelines, we recommend performing a water test at least twice a year as a fixed part of your practice’s hygiene plan.

Backflow Valve Inspection Service
If the dental unit in your practice is connected to the drinking water network, or if your saliva suction system has a water connection, a backflow valve is mandatory. This ensures that water flows in only one direction. The correct functioning of backflow valves is essential for the safety and quality of the unit water.

Dental Management Toolkit
Every practice is different. Therefore, you want to shape the organization of your practice yourself. The Dental Management Toolkit helps you with this. The Dental Management Toolkit is a database with 200+ sample documents and videos for practice management that you can download, use, and adapt to your specific practice situation as you see fit.

NeedleOff Needle Safety Subscription
Upgrade Your Practice: Protect Yourself and Your Team and Contribute to Sustainability! Anyone who works with contaminated needles runs a risk of needlestick injuries and blood-borne infections. This risk is further increased by replacing needle caps (recapping) or transferring unprotected syringes. For this reason, European legislation was introduced that completely prohibits recapping. In daily practice, these guidelines proved difficult to implement. Not anymore. NeedleOff 2 offers a cost-effective solution to safely unscrew and immediately store needles, without having to change your own way of working or delaying treatment. Are you looking for a practical way to protect yourself and your team against the consequences of needlestick injuries? Will you implement NeedleOff 2 as a secondary employment benefit and a sign of appreciation for your team? Or will you emphasize your active contribution to waste reduction and sustainability? Whatever your goal: NeedleOff 2 takes your practice to the next level.
