VOCO – The Dentalists
The family-run dental company VOCO located in Cuxhaven (Germany) is one of the leading manufacturers in the industry, both nationally and internationally. The product portfolio comprises more than 100 preparations, with a focus on preventive, restorative, prosthetic and digital dentistry. The products are manufactured at the headquarters and are therefore 100 percent “Made in Germany”. 470 people are employed in the departments of research, production, sales and administration in Germany. Another 400 employees are responsible for sales worldwide and take care of dentists and depots on site.
In addition to user-friendliness, the highest safety standards and product quality have top priority at VOCO: Since September 2021, VOCO has been one of the first German dental companies to be fully certified under the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) in accordance with (EU) 2017/745. Meaning that medical products of class I and IIa manufactured at the Cuxhaven site are always produced and placed on the market in accordance with valid European guidelines.
Thanks to innovative solutions, the company, founded in 1981, often takes on pioneering roles and establishes new standards in the dental world. In addition, VOCO consistently pushes the digital dentistry and combines complex technologies with best user comfort.

VOCO Profluorid Varnish
VOCO Profluorid Varnish: Fluoride-containing varnish for tooth desensitisation As essential in every practice as forceps and drills. VOCO Profluorid Varnish. The fluoride-containing varnish is ideal for the treatment of hypersensitive teeth and in cases of sensitive root surfaces. Treatment with VPV following cleaning and polishing is also a sensible precaution in order to refill any eroded calcium fluoride depots. The fluoride content is 22,600 ppm fluoride (≙ 5% sodium fluoride). In addition, the white-transparent varnish impresses with high moisture tolerance and excellent adhesion to dental hard tissue. The varnish dries in seconds - at the same time it feels natural and has a pleasant taste so that it is can be left on the teeth for continuous fluoride release. VOCO Profluorid Varnish is available in the hygienic SingleDose as well as in the 10 ml tube and the patient benefits from seven attractive flavours: Melon, Mint, Cherry, Caramel, Bubble Gum, Cola Lime and Pina Colada.
Admira Fusion 5
Admira Fusion 5 by VOCO – Simplified shade system through Cluster-Shades The correct determination of the tooth shade is the key for an aesthetic result of the restoration. Finding the optimal shade is often not that easy. VOCO has therefore set itself the goal of offering dentists a state-of-the-art universal filling material that extremely simplifies daily practice. The solution: The further development of the innovative, purely ceramic-based ORMOCER® filling material Admira Fusion. With the new universal composite Admira Fusion 5, it is now possible to cover all VITA® classical shades with just five Cluster-Shades: Each Cluster-Shade bundles several VITA® classical shades. The so-called Cluster-Shade-System is enabled by the new patented resin matrix, which has been adapted to the size and optical properties of the nano-hybrid particles, which results in optimised light scattering. The result: a targeted and enhanced chameleon effect within the respective Cluster-Shade, which allows the filling material to perfectly match the natural tooth shade.
VOCO Retraction Paste
VOCO Retraction Paste – a must-have for every practice The basis for a perfect impression is an exposed and dry sulcus. With VOCO Retraction Paste, which is applied directly from the cap into the sulcus, VOCO introduced a product for the effective, temporary opening of the sulcus and its isolation from moisture. This product is also the ideal complement to the V-Posil precision impression material. VOCO Retraction Paste offers the prerequisite for successful classic or also digital precision impressions as well as for cavity preparations of class II and V fillings. The retraction paste also convinces in handling: For example, the shade contrasts well against the gingiva, facilitating in particular the work in hard-to-see areas. Thanks to the very slender and slightly flexible cannula, the material can be easily dosed and applied, whereby the paste is easy to press out and subsequently scores points with very good flow viscosity, coupled with uniform stability for opening of the sulcus.
MTA vpt
Preserving pulp vitality in daily practice Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) stands for biocompatibility and long-term clinical success in preserving the vitality of the pulp. With MTA vpt, VOCO offers a reliable material that is specially designed for the needs of daily restorative therapy and makes first-class pulp protection affordable. According to its indications, MTA vpt can be used in cases of deep carious lesions or traumatic pulp exposure. It also supports the objectives of selective or stepwise caries excavation and the Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT) based on it. It can be applied as a lining material, for indirect and direct pulp capping as well as for the treatment of the pulp following vital amputation (partial or complete pulpotomy). Residual carious dentine that remains after selective or stepwise caries removal can be reliably sealed. Free of discolouring substances, MTA vpt is also recommended for use on anterior teeth. MTA vpt releases calcium and hydroxide ions, which stimulates the body's own regenerative processes and the formation of reparative dentine. The resulting high pH value is known to have a bacteriostatic effect and supports remineralisation. The main component of the product is tricalcium silicate. MTA vpt is free from bismuth oxide and ferrous compounds.The material's low solubility and particularly high compressive strength support durable restorations. MTA vpt can be processed immediately by covering with a flowable composite or GI cement without exerting pressure. MTA vpt is hydrophilic and is applied directly to the cavity floor without conditioning agent, or used to cover the pulp tissue. MTA vpt comes in an attractively priced hand-mixed version (10 g powder + 10 ml liquid) and as a capsule for practical direct application.
