Kettenbach receives German TOP 100-Innovation Award in 2026

The family-owned company from Eschenburg impressed the jury in the medium-sized category with its systematic, science-based innovation strategy and deeply embedded innovation culture.
The TOP 100 Award is based on a rigorous scientific evaluation led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. More than 100 criteria are assessed, including innovation-driven leadership, corporate culture, structured innovation processes and the strategic use of digital technologies. The award ceremony will take place on June 26, 2026, at the German SME Summit in Heidelberg, mentored by former German President Christian Wulff.
Innovation has been part of Kettenbach’s DNA for decades. In 1955, the company developed the world’s first silicone-based impression material, setting a milestone in dentistry. This pioneering mindset continues to guide the development of high-quality solutions in prevention, restoration and impression materials. The focus remains clear: intelligent, user-friendly products that support dental professionals in their daily work.
A defined strategic direction from management plays a key role. Kettenbach continuously evolves its portfolio to anticipate market developments and respond proactively. Since May 2025, Managing Director Tabea Fey has been leading the company with a strong focus on user needs and practical solutions. For Kettenbach, innovation means identifying challenges early and translating them into smart, practice-oriented products.
