Realization of National Timeline for Image Availability one step closer through formal collaboration

𝗫𝗗𝗦: 𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

An increasing number of healthcare organisations in The Netherlands are connecting to the national XDS-network. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟳𝟬 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 are now linked via 𝗫𝗗𝗦, and the number of connections continues to grow steadily.

But 2025 brought many more milestones than that. Below are some key figures from the 2025 annual overview of the Dutch market, looking back with pride on the results of our collaborations and turning our focus towards 2026:
🔹 In 2025, the number of connections between healthcare organisations using XDS 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝟯𝟬𝟬%, reaching over 𝟭,𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 within the XDS-network.
🔹 More than 𝟮𝟭𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 are now available.
🔹 Over the course of 2025, the volume of available data 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝘆 𝟲.𝟱% compared to 2024.

Practice shows that XDS has evolved into a 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 that goes beyond image sharing alone. In addition to radiological images, it also supports 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 and 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀.
Based on open and international 𝗜𝗛𝗘-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, XDS is secure and future‑proof, with integration to 𝗙𝗛𝗜𝗥 and the National Imaging Availability Timeline via 𝗗𝗨𝗢.
