We are more than happy to open our doors once again, but at the same time we want to minimize the risk of infection. Besides that, a negative test is only valid 24 hours. That is why we have chosen to have the Corona Check permanently before anyone enters the event. We hope for your understanding for these safetymeasures.

The role of an event is in many ways very important. There are multiple sectors in the Netherlands which have experienced the negative consequences of the covid pandemic. The Dutch government therefor sees trade events as the boosters of the recovery of the economy. This is the place were supply and demand meet and where the innovations of tomorrow are presented. There are industry’s which realize up to 40% of their yearly revenue at trade events. For other service providers the trade fair is also indispensable, like for example stand builders. Furthermore the local and regional economy get a boost during an event, like hotels, taxi’s and restaurants.

The past period we conducted a large research into the visitors of trade events taking place this autumn. In total more than 6.000 respondents took part. The research concluded that 90% of the respondents is planning on visiting trade events this coming season.

We also had our first trade events these past months and we are seeing a large need to meet face-to-face. Moreover the first reactions of exhibitors indicate that visitors are visiting trade fairs very focused and the quality of visitors is high.

Easyfairs follows the measures taken by the Dutch government. European countries have agreed that every country must have a system for a Covid-pass. They call this the EU Digital Corona Certificate (EU DCC). International exhibitors and visitors can enter the exhibition floor with their covid certificate.

The quarantine rules for traveling to the Netherlands have changed as of September 22.
