The roots of DZINTARS date back to the middle of the 19th century and H.A. Brieger factory located in Latvia, in the center of its capital city Riga. The factory became famous for its legendary soaps and perfumes and other cosmetics products. Over time it has grown into the well- known brand DZINARS which was officially established in 1951 and which for more than half a century has been producing products that are an integral part of everyday beauty for millions of people.
Since the 1960s, DZINTARS has been able to compete with Western products in terms of product quality and style, becoming an ambassador of Western style and culture for several generations. During this period DZINTARS started to research and manufacture oral care products becoming the first factory in the region to work on R&D for this category – tooth powders for kids, toothpastes for adults and children, different flavors including an orange – flavored product that has evolved into the currently popular toothpaste series ASARI with 4 distinctive flavors.
From 2021 DZINTARS has been reborn with new power, vision, and ambitious plans to preserve its unique competencies in the development of effective and natural products for everyday life. The focus since then is on the oral care category to continue research and cooperation with professionals, dentists, and oral hygienists to offer the most effective products oral care products in the region. All products have been developed in our on-site laboratory by the best specialists in the industry and are based on extensive research for over 50 years. Other line ASARI is a unique toothpaste collection with Advanced Whitening complex – formula or abrasives and polymers developed by Latvian specialists, and excellent flavors to offer outstanding user experience which is an integral part of modern cosmetics product. All DZINTARS toothpastes contain high or very high fluoride amounts (up to 1450 ppm), natural extracts and from 90 up to 95% raw materials of natural origin!
