Cavex Cream Alginate is the latest addition to the Cavex alginate range. Due to a combination of 5 μm accuracy, high tear strength and excellent elasticity, the properties of this dental impression material challenge those of silicone quality. Add extremely rapid water absorption, a user-friendly creamy consistency during mixing, snap-set, and five-year shelf life. Cavex Cream Alginate is an unrivaled alginate. This alginate impression comes with a beyond pleasant bubble-gum scent to sink one’s teeth into, hence avoiding patient bite resistance. Cavex Cream Alginate is available in Normal (90 sec.) and Fast Set (60 sec.).
Cavex ExSense
Cavex ExSense is the perfect solution for sensitive teeth. Sensitive teeth often occur as a result of dental erosion or exposed dentin. Cavex ExSense is based on 2% hydroxyapatite that seals the tubules and microcracks in the enamel using a hydro-dispersing sol. In doing so, it completely closes off sensitive areas. The addition of 0.1% potassium nitrate also restores the micro-hardness of the elements. In addition to complete closure, crystallization takes place which supports and accelerates the remineralization process. Cavex ExSense contains natural ingredients, hence patients can use the product without restriction at home. Hygiene and sterilization are essential in dental clinics and laboratories. That is why Cavex developed a fast, safe, and highly effective dental impression disinfectant: Cavex ImpreSafe. In just three minutes, this revolutionary disinfectant liquid kills 99.99% of all bacteria, fungi, and viruses, including the coronavirus. The disinfection fluid is compatible with alginate, polyether, and silicone impressions. One liter of Cavex ImpreSafe equals 33 liters of ready-to-use disinfectant liquid. Cavex Prohypaste
Stains, plaque and bacteria are important contributors in the development of gingivitis, periodontitis and cavities. Therefore, professional removal is an important part of maintaining good oral health. Especially for this Cavex ProphyPaste was developed, based on many years of experience in paste technology and providing dental professionals the best possible product for prophylactic treatments. The paste is highly effective in the removal of deposits and discolorations thanks to the unique mix of different silica grains. Cavex ProphyPaste is available with two different RDA properties: Regular and Fine. Cavex ProphyPaste Regular has a higher abrasiveness with an RDA of 130 to 150. Therefore it is perfect for thorough cleaning, while still maintaining a smooth finish. It comes in a light blue color with a refreshing mint flavor. Cavex ProphyPaste Fine has a lower abrasiveness with an RDA of 50 to 60. Therefore it is perfect for the gentle cleaning with a high polishing effect and very well suitable for use on implants, crowns and bridges. It comes in a pink color with a pleasant cranberry flavor. Both pastes are pH neutral and contain fluoride, anti-staining and anti-bacterial components. The pastes come in a flip cap tube making the tubes easy to open and close with one hand. Due to the ideal consistency, the paste is easy to apply and does not splatter. After the treatment the paste can easily be rinsed away without leaving any residue, also making it an excellent pre-conditioner for whitening treatment.
