Are you an experienced dental assistant who likes to keep developing? Are you looking for an extra challenge in your profession or are you encouraged by your practice holder to follow a course? Then consider the Prevention Assistant training at Academy Dental Practice. In this training you will learn everything to be able to work independently as a recognized prevention assistant, including determining the PPS score, giving oral hygiene instructions, removing plaque and tartar and applying fluoride applications.
Practical & interactive training:
With us you will be trained to become a competent and independently working prevention assistant. You will receive practical and interactive training and guidance from expert teachers from the field who are happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. We encourage you to practice in your own practice in addition to the lessons.
Clear practical lessons:
At our location in Woerden you will receive lessons in our well-equipped practical room. Here you will find everything as in the dental practice, including 4 treatment chairs.
Intensive support:
You work in small groups of a maximum of 4 fellow students, in intensive and practical lessons in which you are well supervised.
Advantages of eLearning:
An extensive package of e-learning modules gives you a high-level theoretical basis. It is a systematic training, with a number of advantages. This way you can repeat lesson videos and tests in a relatively simple way. Another advantage is that you can study in your own time and come to class prepared.
Register prevention assistants:
The training is recognized by the Register of prevention assistants. After the course, the student can be registered in the register of prevention assistants.
